I visited a few times before I took my bike in for repair, had an old Felt road bike that my brother gave me to fix up to use. They actually saved me money on the repairs. They said that they didn't recommend that I go for the most expensive service as the bearings felt smooth all round and that the bike hadn't been used that much. I was so impressed as I didn't tell them he had only used it for 100 miles on a charity ride - I just assumed it needed to be dismantled and put back together. They sold me their bronze service, set my saddle height for me and I was happy. Since then I've been back for bottles and lights (sorry to keep coming in pestering you) but they always have time for me. Even though it's a shop full of lads I didn't feel pressured at all. I've ended up buying a Giant Liv road bike, in my size and my fav colour!!
