This chain and lock are in the great category. The chain IS very heavy, but in my mind that is a good thing. The lock is very stout, and easy to use. I just completed a two week road trip and used this product to secure my bike to the bike rack on the back of my car. The bike rack was the "weak link" not this product. It would have been easier for a thief to cut the rack off the back of the car than to break this product. It is well worth the price, just for the peace of mind. All our products have a one year warranty starting from date of purchase.
