Tributes have been paid to a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on the A39 on her way to work. The 30-year-old biker who lived in Penzance and has been named locally as Rebecca Watkins – known as Beca – died at the scene after her bike and a green VW polo car collided near the Norway Inn between Falmouth and Truro. Miss Watkins was on her way to start her shift as assistant team manager at Waitrose in Truro when the tragedy happened just before 5.30am yesterday. Her partner Michelle Gallimore was being comforted by family as tributes were paid on social media sites Facebook and Twitter. Friends have paid tribute to Miss Watkins, who had previously attended Dauntsey's School near Devizes, describing her as the most "lovely, friendly, amazing, hardworking" person. A Facebook post from a friend Friend Julie Ann Oliver posted on Facebook: "I don't know where to start! Beca Watkins you were the most lovely, funny, friendly, amazing, hard working person I have ever had the pleasure to meet!
