Speaking about what it is about a leather jacket that makes him feel special, David, who is an ambassador for the iconic outerwear brand, said: 'When I started riding bikes in LA I came across the coolest Belstaff jacket in a vintage store and it is still one of my favourites.'He added: 'A biker jacket has that fantastic mix of being something really functional and protective, while also looking great and effortlessly cool.'David, who has previously created two capsule collections for Belstaff, recently shot a movie for the new season line alongside Pulp Fiction's Harvey Keitel. Directed by Geremy Jasper and produced by Liv Tyler, the short film was created on location in Mexico. It is described as 'surreal film within a film starring The Stranger', a mysterious drifter and motorcycle stuntman, haunted by memories of a beautiful Trapeze Artist and hunted by a maniacal Director seeking revenge. Filming Outlaws in the Mexican desert with Belstaff and the Legs team – not to mention working alongside Harvey, Cathy and Katherine – was an adventure I will never forget!' He recently spoke of his desire to break into the acting world, telling The Times: 'I am very aware that many sportsmen and other celebrities have turned their hand to acting and failed. 'I know that it is a tough profession, where you need a huge amount of skill and discipline, and I wouldn't want to push myself forward too soon, without learning more about it, and doing a lot more practice.'But what I have done so far, I have loved. I can deal with most things. I am a well-known person, so I have got used to criticism.'David is set to appear in his first big screen role in the Guy Ritchie film Knights of the Roundtable, which is due out next year.
